If you are lucky enough to be visiting the Great Smoky Mountains in early September, you have the unique opportunity to enjoy a hometown fair experience at the Sevier County Fair! This wonderful fair features everything from livestock exhibits to a fun midway with rides and games. Here is all the information that you need to know about attending the Sevier County Fair:
Dates, Times and Location
The Sevier County Fair runs from Friday, September 1, 2017 to Saturday, September 9, 2017. On opening day, the fair gates are open from 3 PM to 11 PM for your enjoyment. Operating hours are different for each day of the fair, so be sure to check the official fair schedule before planning your trip to the fairgrounds. The Sevier County Fairgrounds are located at 754 Old Knoxville Highway, Sevierville, TN 37862, and are just a short drive from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!
Admission Information
Admission to the Sevier County Fair is only $6.00 per adult, while children 10 and under are admitted to the fair for free! You can also purchase a season pass for unlimited admission throughout the duration of the fair for just $30. In addition to the admission fees, unlimited ride wristbands are available for $20 per person. Ride tickets may also be purchased on a pay-as-you-go basis.
What to Expect
The Sevier County Fair is a fun event with everything that you might expect from a traditional hometown fair. Guests to the fair can enjoy midway rides, cotton candy, livestock and produce exhibits, live entertainment and much more! Although the shows and events vary throughout the week, you can check out certain activities and exhibits all week long. These include the Exhibit Hall, free Laser Tag, the Mainstreet Market and the Master Gardener’s Twilight Gardening Series.
