1. Go for a Swim
Going swimming is the ultimate family vacation activity! When you stay at one of our Gatlinburg cabins with pool access, you will be able to spend your afternoons beating the heat at one of our refreshing resort swimming pools. Whether you play Marco Polo, race one another, or just splash around, you are guaranteed to have a blast at the pool.
While our outdoor pools are only available during the warm weather months, some of our properties also come with access to year round indoor pools. We even offer some cabins in Gatlinburg with private indoor pools, so you can go for a swim without setting foot outside!
2. Have a Cookout
Many of our Gatlinburg cabin and chalet rentals come with outdoor grills, so you can have a BBQ with your family! There are a number of grocery stores near our properties, so you can easily pick up everything you need to make some tasty steaks, burgers, or kebabs. For some locally grown produce and other fresh items, check out the Gatlinburg Farmers Market, which runs on Saturday mornings at 849 Glades Road from mid-May through mid-September.
After your food comes off the grill, we suggest sitting down on the rocking chairs on your deck and enjoying your meal with the Great Smoky Mountains as your backdrop. For dessert, you can drive over to Mad Dog’s Creamery and Donuts for some delicious ice cream, funnel cake, shaved ice, or donuts. Trust us, your sweet tooth will not be disappointed!
3. Organize a Tournament in the Game Room
What is a family vacation without a little friendly competition? When you rent one of our Gatlinburg cabins with a game room, you can have a fun tournament with the whole clan. Each game room is different, but some of the activities you may find include billiards, pinball, air hockey, foosball, darts, and arcade games.
