All Gatlinburg rafting tours have a professional guide in the raft. Each trip starts with a safety talk, and all equipment is provided.

Rafting in the Smokies

Gatlinburg Rafting in the Smokies provides a similar experience. The dam-controlled river allows scheduled runs in class three and four rapids. No experience is required. Anyone eight years or older can join the fun. Passengers can feel safe with the professional guides as they travel the five mile course.

Appalachian Outdoor Whitewater Rafting

Appalachian Outdoor Whitewater Rafting in Gatlinburg brings the owner’s 20 years of rafting experience to their guests. The trained guides on staff will give you a safe and fun experience. Tours travel through class three and four rapids. Each tour lasts three hours and begins with an introductory safety talk.

Wild Water

Wild Water on the Pigeon River has both upper and lower river runs. Choose the tour that best suits your needs. This makes the experience of rafting fun for the entire family, no matter what their skill level. Half day excursions take you through class three and four rapids. Outdoor Rafting Adventures offer a wide variety of tours with several different levels of excitement. The Lower Section tours are ideal for young children and non-swimmers. This gentle trip is a perfect introduction to whitewater rafting in Gatlinburg. The two hour Upper Section tour takes you into class three and four rapids. Any guest eight years or older is welcome. Safety is top priority here. All guides are certified and trained in CPR. Helmets and equipment are provided for you.
