The Donut Friar prides themselves on their freshly made bakery delights. Each item served at the Gatlinburg shop is made fresh, on site, daily. Featuring a variety of donuts, with everything from traditional cake donuts to frosted specialties, every family member will find a special treat to enjoy.
The Donut Friar is well-known for more than donuts. Their bakery selection also includes their famous cinnamon bread, puff pastries, cheese danishes, cookies, eclairs and cinnamon rolls, too. Many of the items in the bakery only a couple of dollars, while there are some of the items are even listed for less than $1.
What would a donut be without a cup of coffee? For coffee lovers, The Donut Friar has espresso, cappuccino, lattes and of course, freshly brewed coffee. Every coffee beverage pairs perfectly with any of the Donut Friar bakery selections.
To enjoy your purchase, your family can relax upstairs to enjoy the sweet smell, or sit outside by the fountain and take in the crisp mountain air. The Donut Friar is a Gatlinburg shop at The Village, located at 634 Parkway, between traffic lights #6 and #8. The Gatlinburg shop opens at 5 a.m. daily and remains open until 10 p.m.
