Located at the doorstep of Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains, the city of Pigeon Forge is one of the country’s best vacation destinations! Here at Amazing Views Cabin Rentals, we want you to make the most of your getaway in the area. That’s why we have put together a handful of insider tips for an unforgettable escape at our cabin rentals in Pigeon Forge Tenn:
1. Use the Secret Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
The most popular way to get from Pigeon Forge to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is to drive along the Parkway and go through Gatlinburg. If you’re looking for a quieter route from your cabin to the park, we suggest using the GSMNP’s “secret entrance” in Wears Valley. You’ll feel like a local, and as an added bonus, you’ll get to enjoy all of the beautiful mountain views in the valley!
To get to this entrance, take Wears Valley Road off of the Parkway and stay on it for about 20 minutes. Then, continue onto Lyon Springs Lane and take Wear Cove Gap Road. Right at the entrance, you will find the beautiful Metcalf Bottoms picnic area. Located on the Little River, Metcalf Bottoms is an excellent place to go tubing, fishing, or to just relax and enjoy the scenery.
2. Choose a Cabin with the Views You Desire
A cabin is not just a place to sleep at the end of the day; it is a vacation destination in itself. Our properties offer some of the most scenic vistas in the area. When we named our company “Amazing Views”, we weren’t exaggerating! As you browse our selection of cabins, be sure to select a vacation rental with the view of your dreams. If you have questions about the locations of any of our cabins, feel free to give our friendly staff a call.

3. Have Lunch at the Pigeon Forge Deli
When you stay at our cabin rentals in Pigeon Forge Tenn, a visit to the Pigeon Forge Deli is an absolute must. One of the hidden gems in the Smokies, this mom-and-pop sandwich shop bakes all of its bread in-house and uses premium quality ingredients. The Pigeon Forge Deli is popular with locals and vacationers alike for its generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service, and freshly baked soft pretzels. It may have an unassuming exterior, but trust us, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
4. Visit Friendly Falls
You don’t have to go trekking through the woods to find a beautiful waterfall in the Smokies! Friendly Falls is conveniently located right on Wears Valley Road, and is home to a restaurant, country store, and gem mine for kids. This scenic spot is the perfect place to relax, have a bite to eat, and admire the cascading water.
