Looking to have a fun-packed day this 4th of July? Pack up the kids, lawn chairs, and sunscreen and head to Pigeon Forge for the Patriot Festival.
Patriot Park hosts Pigeon Forge’s 22nd annual Independence Day celebration. Experience local food vendors and the Kids Karnival beginning at noon on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Musical entertainment begins at 1:30 pm and includes The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Grand Majestic Theater’s Military Tribute, and newcomer country artist Chris Janson, as well as The Pigeon Forge Community Chorus and other musical guests. Headliner John Anderson, famous for the hit “Swingin’ ”, takes the stage at 8:30 pm, and the festivities conclude at 10:00 pm with a brilliant fireworks display.
While you are in the area, you can stay at a Gatlinburg cabin rental provided by Amazing Views Cabin Rentals and take advantage of their great 4th of July specials. Free shuttle service will be available to Patriot Park from the Teaster Lane Municipal Lot located behind The Old Mill at Stoplight #7 in Pigeon Forge. Admission, parking and shuttle service are all free.
