Know What Kind of Vacation You Want to Take

Of course, you want to take a vacation to the Smoky Mountain , but it’s so much more than that. The Great Smoky Mountains is a wonderful experience, but there’s so much to do in the area, so you have to do a little narrowing down. First, do you prefer which area you stay in? Do you want to stay in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg? Would you rather be close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or close to Dollywood and other attractions in the area?

Whatever it may be that you prefer, you just have to start by choosing which area you want to be in. If you need help deciding which is best for you, you can give us a call at Amazing Views Cabin Rentals and we’ll help you out with any of your questions.

It’s time for a vacation, so stop worrying about all of the things happening at work and at home. Take a break and enjoy a real vacation this time. The Great Smoky Mountains is one of the most relaxing places, and can be one of the best places to relieve stress and step into nature.

Whether you want to sit on the porch of your Pigeon Forge cabin, you want to relieve stress on a hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or you’d rather play games with your family in the game room, you can be stress free and enjoy a getaway when you visit.

Pack Lightly

Overpacking can be quite a hassle, and can cause added stress to your trip. You may feel like you have absolutely everything you could possibly need, but you’re also carrying around lots of extra luggage, filled with things you probably won’t really need.

Here’s a few tips for packing lightly:

Plan to take just 1 bag of clothes. This will help with overpacking. If you’re only going to be spending a couple of days in the Smokies, you probably don’t need to take a huge bag. One of the small roller bags should do just fine.

Choose clothes wisely. When you’re packing, choose flexible clothes. Whether you roll your clothes or fold them before putting them into your bag, you can pack much more in a smaller bag when your clothes aren’t bulky.
