Here are 3 things to do in the Smoky Mountains in 2022:
1. SkyLand Ranch
One of the most anticipated attractions in Sevierville is SkyLand Ranch ! This $40 million development will bring new and exciting entertainment to the historic town of Sevierville. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy a chairlift, a mountain coaster, a beautiful canopy walk and more! There will also be a state-of-the-art event space for live music and other entertainment for you to enjoy. You’ll even be able to shop and grab a bite to eat, all while exploring this new attraction. SkyLand Ranch is expected to open in the summer of 2022.
2. Downtown Flavortown
You know him and you love him, Guy Fieri is coming to the Smokies! The famed host of the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” has opened a food and entertainment complex in Pigeon Forge this year. Downtown Flavortown boasts 43,000 square-feet of food, games and fun. Enjoy the impressive menu at the restaurant and tiki bar before trying your hand at the 14-lane Duck Pin bowling alley or arcade games. You can even take a photo with Fieri’s famous 1968 Chevy Camaro while you’re exploring the entertainment complex. Downtown Flavortown opened in Pigeon Forge on March 8, 2022.
3. Dollywood in 2022
Every year, Dollywood theme park brings something new to the table! This year you can expect new features of all their most popular festivals, including updates to the Sweet Summer Nights Fireworks Show and new displays in the Flower and Food Festival. Craftsman’s Valley will also be expanded in order to make room for Hoot Owl Hollow.
If you’re planning on buying season passes to Dollywood, there will be a new system set in place in 2022. The season pass structure will now be divided into Silver, Gold and diamond passes, each with their own unique experiences. The Diamond Pass will even contain 6-Bring-A-Friend Free Passes!
