August 24, 2016

If you’ve ever visited Pigeon Forge, TN, you know that the Parkway is the place to be! This main road through the city is lined with some of the very best things to do in the Smoky Mountain area. When you stay at our cabins near the Parkway, you will be minutes away from all of the fun. Here are the top five Pigeon Forge Parkway attractions to check out on your next vacation:

1. Titanic Museum Attraction

It’s hard to miss the Titanic Museum Attraction on the Parkway because the entire building is shaped like an oceanliner! This unique museum is filled with artifacts from the actual RMS Titanic, which famously sank after colliding with an iceberg in 1912. While the outside of the museum is half the size of the original ship, all of the rooms in the museum are full scale and have been painstakingly recreated based on the Titanic’s original blueprints. Whether you’re a history buff or you just loved the 1997 movie, you will have a great time at this museum.

2. Flyaway Indoor Skydiving

If you have ever wanted to go skydiving but aren’t too keen on jumping out of a plane, this attraction is for you. Flyaway Indoor Skydiving uses a vertical wind tunnel to keep divers suspended in the air. No prior experience is need at Flyaway, and you don’t even need to wear a parachute! It’s easy to see why this is one of the most popular Pigeon Forge Parkway attractions.

3. WonderWorksWonderWorks on the Pigeon Forge Parkway.

Much like the Titanic Museum Attraction, the WonderWorks building is sure to turn a few heads, since it is completely upside down! When you step inside this indoor amusement park, you will pass through an inversion tunnel that puts you right side up. Visitors will have the chance to explore six different interactive and educational exhibits including the Natural Disasters Zone, Physical Challenge Zone, Light & Sound Zone, Space Discovery Zone, Imagination Lab, and Far Out Art Gallery. Other highlights of WonderWorks include an Indoor Ropes Challenge, a Laser Tag Arena, and the Wonders of Magic Show with Terry Evanswood.

4. MagiQuest

Housed in a medieval castle on the Parkway, MagiQuest is actually four attractions in one. The title attraction, MagiQuest, is an exciting adventure in which wand-wielding guests solve puzzles, fight dragons, and cast spells. The MagiQuest building is also home to the world’s largest mirror maze, a black light pirate-themed mini golf course, and a Mission Impossible-style laser challenge.

5. Rockin’ Raceway

Designed to look like a giant jukebox, Rockin’ Raceway offers fun for the whole family. Guests will enjoy over 150 awesome video games in this state-of-the-art arcade. Kids will have a blast playing games and then exchanging their tickets for their choice of great prizes. As you probably guessed by its name, Rockin’ Raceway is also home to a thrilling go kart track that is filled with plenty of twists and turns.
